JD challenged Wannahaves and 433 to amplify their 2022 Arcade Christmas campaign and bring attention to the national team football jerseys, used at the World Cup 2022. We accepted the challenge and created ‘JD Locker Room’, a locker room with an Arcade game hall feeling to it.
This locker room became the backdrop for lots of online content featuring international football players, to be shared on 433 and JD Sports social channels.
This way, we brought JD’s brand values and purpose to life among millions of football fans by creating compelling content which kept JD top of mind throughout the World Cup 2022.
12 INTERNATIONAL fOOTBALL PLAYERS
With JD Locker Room, 12 international football players were invited to participate in challenges and discuss the most important things; culture, football and fans.
Coming from different cultures and backgrounds, having known different kinds of footballing rivalries, these were the ideal players to discuss topics and excite every football fan.
In this time and age, a goal means a celebration. We asked our 12 football stars to show us their (signature) celebration moves and activated the fans on TikTok to show us their moves as well, while having a chance of winning a JD Sports World Cup prize pack.

In the content serie 'World Cup Pride' we asked 8 player what it means to them to wear the national team soccer jersey. The Reels has been share were shared on the 433 Instagram channel.
